For children who have in school music lessons, or lessons with a teacher who is not a pianist I offer an accompanying service for ABRSM, LCM or Trinity board exams.

Time and Cost: these are the MU (Musician’s Union) hourly rates for 25-26

Grade 1: 1 x 30 minute practice, run through before the exam & exam itself £44

Grade 2-3: 2 x 20/30 minute practices, run through before the exam & the exam itself £66

Grade 4-5: 2 x 30 minute practices, run through before the exam & the exam itself £66

Grade 6+ : £22 per half hour needed, £44 for the exam itself.

If it is a standalone pupil, ie just one child I am going across to an exam centre for, there may be an additional charge for fuel / parking expenses. For anything post grade 6 that I’m not able to sightread, there may be a charge for my practice time.

I regularly stand in for, and accompany local groups and choirs. If you need a Thurs or Fri evening cover, do get in touch.

I am the regular pianist for Sheffield based Singers Collective, and play for their concerts 3 times a year. Annually, they hold a “Come and Sing” event which I conduct.
