Lesson prices for new starters increase each Sept, in line with MU recommended rates. For current students (who may be on older rates, these increase pro rata)
Your lesson fees include:
- access to digital resources I have studio licence for (TomPlay, SuperSonics, Piano Pronto, Hello Theory
- access to a wealth of music resources, I keep up to date syllabus materials for LCM, ABRSM and Trinity, as well as sets of tutor books and lots of extra material
- a notebook
- stickers, tabs and post-its
- borrowed materials such as sight reading books
- piano tuning
- a pre-loved book box, you can always put in old books to be used by others, or borrow things you might like to play
- access to technology – iPad/ laptop / equipmentt for online lesson / digital piano
- the opportunity to prepare and play in a concert each year in the Spring term
- exam preparation
- my DBS, safeguarding courses, and ongoing membership, training and support for professional development from ABCD and EPTA
Rates for the academic year 2026-2027
30 min lesson (beginner to grade 4) – £23
40 min lesson (grade 4-6) – £31
45 min lesson (grade 4-7) – £34.50
60 min lesson (all) – £45.50
All lessons are payable half termly in advance. A full week’s notice is required if you need to swap or move a lesson. No refunds are available. In the case of sickness, one lesson may be carried across each half term.
