Pupil concerts are a chance for students to play to one another. It is a highlight of the year, and give students a real buzz of enthusiasm.
Performing is a super important skill, and helps us overcome all those butterflies and nerves, to show our very best. Preparing for performance is a key part of the music teaching curriculum.
I encourage, and support, all students to perform. We know everyone is super busy, so I ask parents to prioritise the date when it’s released for the following year.
Our concert this year is on Saturday 7th March at Ecclesall All Saints. 5pm for beginners and 6pm for everyone else. The program is as below.
There’s always tea and cake, and we’ll be raising money for Lost Chord again.
